Deny PC Access

I would like to restrict access to our live database by the computer
name. Is this possible in SQL 2000? If so, does anyone have a
recommendation on how to do this?

You could restrict using IP address with a firewall, but it could be easily
bypassed. Using multiple subnets may be difficult to implement if you needed
some interaction between the two.
